A Random bit of Happyness
Right now I am just going through a difficult time in my life. My mom has stage 2 breast cancer and will is having chemo this Holy Week. So she won't be feeling great during the most holy week in the Catholic church. And to top if all off her next chemo will be during the week of my college graduation. So she will not be able to see her daughter walk across the stage. Which is kinda emotional. Will life is hard right now so last night I when my best friend and I stumbled across this video I just lifted my mood up so much. God works in such mysterious ways.

Prayer THE relationship
Prayer is big deal especially for me. But it is hard. Many people believe that they do not have to pray to God everyday to have a relationship with God. Their major excuse is they are too busy or why should they have to pray when God already knows what they are doing. But prayer is much more than that.
I pose a question to you. How do you fall in love with some one? I mean really truly fall in love with some one. Is it by just watching them from afar? Is it by spending one half hearted hour with them a week? If you want to fall in love with someone you have to spend time with them. You can't just expect it to happen. You have to invest into the relationship. That is where prayer comes in. Prayer is the relationship.
When you are dating a person do you just sit around and ignore that person? Probally not. Because if the person I was dating did that to me I know I would dump them in a heart beat.
But sadly that is how many of our relationships with God are. People expect Him to have big grand appearance in their lives when they don't truly invest in the relationship. If you want to fall in love with Christ you have to spend time with Him. You have to date Him in a sense. I challenge you to take time each day to allow your relationship with Christ to grow into a true loving relationship. And Trust me when I say you will be changed!
